Garden center elsewhere… Edward’s Garden Center
The page has 10,000 followers. Withe this garden center elsewhere, we are here at 525 River St, Forty Fort, PA, United States, Pennsylvania. This Garden Center is located in the northwest of New York… It’s a landmark… identifiable?We are in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County in northern Pennsylvania, in the USA of course. The small town of 40,000 inhabitants is home to Edward’s Garden Center, a “traditional” garden center. And as proof, the photo shared at the end of March shows us the Chinese cedars in clumps, and of a good size at that. Not sure if we can still find this type of plant in our garden centers?
Fairview Garden Center
We’re moving, but still in the USA. We go down to South Carolina to follow Fairview Garden Center, a horticultural producer whose page has 9,900 followers.The garden center is located at 8224 Holly Springs Rd, Raleigh, NC, United States, North Carolina.Raleigh is not a small town lost in the countryside, it is the capital and second city of the state of North Carolina.The city is connected to nature since it is nicknamed “the city of oaks” because of its numerous oaks planted here and there!Several photos on this producer’s Facebook account tell us that production is in full swing!In the next 15 days, the minimum temperatures will be 2 degrees, and the maximum will be 27 degrees. Needless to say, it’s time to start installing the little flowers!
Garden center elsewhere… Springvale Garden Center
Another garden center elsewhere, we are changing creameries and are now heading to New Zealand. Here we are in the town of Wanganui. It is located on the shores of South Taranaki Bay, near the mouth of the Whanganui River. To give you a more precise idea, it is 200 km north of Wellington and 75 km northwest of Palmerston North. For those who know, it’s quite simple, for others, try with Google Earth…The city has around 40,000 inhabitants and temperatures at the moment fluctuate between 10 min and 20 max!Here, the Springvale Garden Center offers a type of “school gardening”. It must be said that the summer holidays have been over since the end of February and the schoolchildren are quietly waiting for the autumn holidays which are fast approaching… It’s in April! The ideal time to garden and discover the local garden center at the same time!

For fun and to stay in New Zealand, at California Home & Garden located in Wellington. Here’s what’s on offer at the moment… For Easter, our friends in the clothing and footwear department… Nice shoes!
Moens Garden Center
Back in the neighborhood… Or almost, with the Moens Garden Center garden center in Belgium. The address is Itterbeeksebaan 172, Dilbeek, Belgium.The Facebook community has 3900 followers. The plant is not very original, but the post gives us the opening hours for the Easter weekend. Sunday and Monday, the store opened in the morning to satisfy its customers!A word about the town of Dilbecek which is located in the suburbs of Brussels, northwest of Anderlecht. There are 45,000 inhabitants there.Dilbeek is a Dutch-speaking municipality in the Flemish Region. And for even more details, it is located in the Province of Flemish Brabant.
Garden center elsewhere… Loyda’s Home Garden
Here we are now in the northern suburbs of Manila in the Philippines. Here, it is not really a garden center, but an importer of original plants from Thailand. This group of enthusiasts is well established with a warehouse open every day from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Facebook community has 10,000 subscribers.The group regularly organizes meetings and workshops to create cuttings and showcase original plants.The address is at Zabarte Rd, Quezon City, Philippines.Quezon City has a special history. It is the former capital of the Philippines until 1976.Quezon City is a new city, which mixes industrial sites and residential areas. The main university campuses are also found in Quezon. Needless to say, things are moving there!
